Precautions when using panel glue

2018-6-8

Working conditions
To obtain better adhesion properties, try to10℃Work in the above environment.
◆Accumulation
The standard accumulation time refers to the time from the beginning of glue application to the time before the upper press is pressurized.
Open stacking time: refers to the time after the wood strips and boards are glued before the glued surface is bonded to other wood.
Lock accumulation time: refers to the time after the wood strips and boards are glued and the glued surface is bonded to other wood and arranged neatly, but before pressure is applied.
Accumulation (open + closed) time: summer (30℃about) about10Within minutes.
Winter (10℃about) about15Within minutes.
Note: The shorter the accumulation time, the better.
◆Compression pressure
1.Cork (proportion in0.5below):6-10kg/cm2
2. Hardwood (proportion in0.5above):10-15kg/cm2
3. Coordination of pressure time and temperature:Around 30℃: 40-80min Around 10℃: 60-120min
If production conditions permit, the longer the pressurization time, the better.
4. Because most of the methods of applying pressure in the production of integrated materials (panel panels) are multi-point pressurization, multi-point simultaneous pressurization must be controlled. And the pressure cannot be increased to the maximum at one time. The pressure must be increased gradually, usually in three times. The glue seams on the flat surface and ends should evenly overflow the glue line.
◆Remove squeezed out adhesive
After the pressure is relieved, the adhesive squeezed out of the adhesive layer should be quickly removed. At this time, the adhesive has not yet completely cured, so care should be taken during operation.
◆Health care
at room temperature (20℃above),24Rough machining can be carried out after an hour,72Deep processing can be carried out after hours. When the curing temperature is low, the curing time can be appropriately extended.
The above conditions are just an example. Due to the different types of wood, ambient temperature and humidity, types of production equipment, and required adhesive properties, the conditions are also different, so relevant operations need to be carried out after careful confirmation.

◆Wood preprocessing
1. Wood moisture content8~12%, the moisture content difference between adjacent ones is within 2%.
2. Ensure that the wood thickness error is controlled within0.1mmWithin.
3. Make sure to use high-quality wood with a smooth surface and trim any conspicuous convex bulges, concave holes and cracks.
4. Finish the finger joint part.
◆Pretreatment of adhesive
1. The mixing ratio of main agent and curing agent is calculated according to the weight ratio: (main agent: curing agent =100:15). According to the dosage of main agent, mix the appropriate weight of curing agent.
2. Master the appropriate mixing amount and try to use up the amount mixed at one time within 30 minutes. The adhesive mixture is added to30After a few minutes, the viscosity increases, foaming continues, and it is difficult to apply. summer(30℃) has a maximum available time of about 1 hour in winter (5~10℃) is available for a maximum of approximately 2 hours.
3. After the main agent and curing agent are mixed evenly, they should be poured onto the automatic gluing roller as soon as possible to carry out the gluing process.
4. When handling the curing agent, be careful not to contact the skin or splash into the eyes. After use, close container lid.
◆Apply
1. Use a rolling applicator, hand roller, brush, etc. to apply adhesive. The width of the rolling glue applicator is 30~45cm. A roller with a small width should be used. This series of adhesives cures quickly. If a normal 1m wide roller is used, the adhesive will thicken and harden on the roller. The amount of adhesive spread on the roller should be as small as possible, and newly mixed adhesive should be spread repeatedly on the roller applicator.
2.The standard application amount is250~300g/m2
